70Nicholas has studied and worked in Liberia, Zimbabwe, Brussels and Denmark and as a result, he has a well-developed cultural awareness for working on international projects.
Nicholas is a graduate of (MSC) Political Science from the University of Aarhus, Denmark and has worked at the Danish Ministry of Higher Education and Science, BDO consulting, and the Culture Department in the Municipality of Aarhus.
Nicholas has specialized within the following areas of policy analysis on international issues: 1) The Politics of Development Success and Failure in the Third World, 2) EU matters (EU and Member states- Europeanization after 2004, EU organization) and 3) Domestic and international politics (Public Policy, Public Administration). Nicholas has also studied creative journalism from The Danish School of Media and Journalism.
Nicholas has experience in the private sector working as a project/analytical worker at (BDO consulting, accounting, audit), conducting satisfaction surveys, and writing/ translating reports regarding IT and wage systems within the public sector in Denmark.
Most recently, as Head of Section in the Ministry of Higher Education and Science, Nicholas was responsible for assessing and handling, foreign educational qualification in accordance with Danish standards for Iran, India, Pakistan, Nepal, the United Kingdom and Bangladesh, whilst being involved in detailed project administration and analytical assignments in Danish and English.
Nicholas is bilingual in Danish and English, and also speaks French.
